It is so cold that my brain cannot really function properly. I haven’t been able to think of much to write.
Since a lot of people come here for news about Yasmine Bleeth, Theraflu and ZZZQuil (according to my visitor statistics) I have news about almost all of those things!
Yasmine Bleeth is working on a new film called Beautiful Evil! I can’t wait!!
Do you miss Theraflu? I’ve been able to find it at the Dollar Tree, but the generic version of it that CVS makes simply KICKS ASS! It’s honey lemon flavor and will knock you and your cold right out into dreamland!
Other than that, please remember to not take ZZZQuil or NyQuil if you have alcohol addiction issues, or if you’re on Antabuse.
Other than this information, I think the creative part of my brain is slowly thawing out and I should have some interesting stuff up soon.
I’m really hoping to catch the pageant online this year, even if it’s after it’s over. I do not have access to a have television right now.
Things have changed since I did pageants, which seems like a million years ago at this point. Only one piece swimsuits were allowed, and they were super expensive and you couldn’t even swim in them. Now Catalina, which is exclusively available at Wal Mart , is where you can buy a competition suit.
Amway also is a sponsor. It’s good to know that these girls can have a career path to follow once the pageant is said and done selling all kinds of things out of the comfort of their own home.
It’s not too late to order your very own Miss America Flash Drive:
Yes, you can have your own crown flash drive for $19.99.
Being a former pageant competitor I will tell you one thing. Losing a pageant can be pretty upsetting. I have a feeling that there’s going to be a lot of underage drinking in Vegas tonight, tears, gambling, binge eating (since everyone is usually on some mad crash diet before the pageant)…and some massive hangovers in tomorrow morning.
Maybe I’ve written about this before, but I’ll write about it again and again because I believe it to be true.
Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans has the best coffee in the whole wide world.
I write this as I lay on the bed in my hotel room, high from all of the sugared beignets I’ve eaten. Look at this picture, it looks like I was on a drug binge. Nope. It’s all powdered sugar.
You know what I love about New Orleans? You can eat at a McDonalds here and the food will taste amazing. The hotel we’re staying has a restaurant with the most amazing sweet iced tea, and their “New Orleans Cuisine” is probably comparable to that of an Olive Garden, but it’s so good. I think people just really know how to cook down here.
More to come.
