I’m in New York this week…and today the weather is especially dreary with rain and all. Whenever it’s depressing and cold out, I always try to stay indoors, drink Coca-Cola (NEVER diet, only regular with lots of sugar)…troll on the internet and smell nice summery things like orange and coconut, which tricks my mind into thinking I’m sitting inside of cabana in Hawaii or something.
So I’m thinking about cutting my hair to look like this:
Keep in mind my hair is almost to my waist…I kind of don’t want to cut it…but the thought of it being shorter and easier to deal with sounds pretty enticing…
Also, I cleaned out my closet the other night and found nothing but a ton of gym clothes, and a bunch of American Apparel dresses…and some legwarmers…I think I’m in need of a serious makeover. Whenever I go to a store though, I am drawn magically to the big baggy sweatshirts and pants area. What is wrong with me?
I hope everyone is having an awesome day…I’ll write more later, and thanks to all the new visitors for stopping by!
Do you like to eat? (Probably.) Do you like sandwiches? Do you like surprises? Well I DO. That is why I love Randwiches and that’s what I’m blogging about today.
Go to their website and look. For $7.00 you can have a magical sandwich delivered to your house ANYWHERE the subway goes in NYC. (Sorry…NYC only…and I don’t think they deliver to Long Island, but who knows…maybe they could start if there’s a demand)
The sandwiches aren’t basic, they are mega tasty with all kinds of crazy good combinations of ingredients…like carrot cream cheese!…mmm! Chickpea, cabbage, pear, bacon…braised pork, etc…and if you don’t like something…you tell them and they won’t put it on your Randwich.
A really friendly and somewhat attractive delivery person will bring you your randwiches on a designated time and day. The sandwich is a surprise! You won’t know what kind it is until they arrive! They do not accept tips, but like gifts, and people blogging and tweeting about them and how awesome they are.
So if you want to sign up, go to their site. There is a waiting list, but it’s highly worth the wait. They also deliver to offices too! Party time!
I loved my randwiches so much, I wish I could order them each week! Don’t forget to check out their site and follow them on Twitter!
I can’t thank the nice people over at PetsAdviser enough for having me cover the Pre-Westminster craziness this past weekend at Hotel Pennsylvania.
Read all about it HERE! :)
And follow them on Twitter HERE! 🙂
Thanks again guys! I’ve seriously never had so much fun covering an event before!
I’m super excited I get to go and cover a dog fashion show this Friday night. In fact, I am so excited about this, it concerns me. If a magician is there, I may implode with happiness. Nothing says happiness like puppies, magic, and coca-cola.
Ironically I start covering some Westminster stuff the DAY Little Maximillian goes in for his pre-neuter check-up. Alas, my baby will never be able to compete in dog shows, but I think he has a promising career in modeling and acting (he just appeared in a pilot).
He posed for this pic...
Forever on the quest to find Dry Shampoo to make my life easier, and yours…I just tried Lee Stafford’s fun looking stuff that comes in a pink can.
Money saving tip…buy this at your drug store and it’s cheaper than Amazon.com
I liked it a lot, but I did feel like I was spray painting my head because of the sound the can made when I was shaking it. I’m still a huge fan of Batiste…but it’s getting harder to find in stores.
My fave is tropical!
I highly recommend Demeter Laundromat for a fresh clean smelling self!….
Make sure to not use too much...or you will smell like cat litter.
Check back later this week for more…
Go Giants! Go go go! Awesome game.
Go Giants! go go GO! Add 2012!
I slept through part of it, but woke up just in time for Madonna’s performance which was great, however I was concerned about her choice in footwear. Her high heeled boots seemed very difficult to dance in.
My agenda for this week…finishing up some writing assignments, and if I’m by a tv I just may live tweet the episode of The Bachelor tomorrow night.
So excited that I was able to blog for Closets for Causes! An amazing organization that my friend, Talia Bella, has put together.
Check it out!
